Leaders of Organized Labour are currently holding an emergency meeting with the Federal Government over the proposed nationwide indefinite strike scheduled to commence tomorrow, October 3.
The unions comprising the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, and the Trade Union Congress, TUC, arrived at the Presidential Villa to convey their decision to the Federal Government.
The development comes as the TUC on Monday concluded its National Executive Council, NEC, meeting following its earlier meeting with the Federal Government on Sunday, where some resolutions were reached.
They also deliberated on the offers made by the government and have taken a decision.
They are expected to communicate to the federal government their decision and eventually brief the media on their final position on the proposed nationwide indefinite strike.
