The impact of the collision left Yusuf injured and lying motionless on the BRT lane.

Another witness, who spoke hurriedly amidst the chaos at the scene, revealed that after the accident, the policemen attempted to flee.

However, an angry mob managed to apprehend one of the officers and subjected him to a violent beating, leaving him unconscious but still breathing.

The mob was infuriated by the actions of the policemen, holding them responsible for the tragic incident that had unfolded before their eyes.

Concerned individuals rushed to assist Yusuf, who remained unconscious on the BRT lane while witnesses attempted to revive him by pouring water on him, hoping he would regain consciousness.

Simultaneously, officers from the Ketu Divisional Police Station attempted to rescue their injured colleague, who also lay motionless on the ground.

The officer’s uniform bore signs of the brutal assault he had endured at the hands of the angry mob.

Amidst the commotion, people expressed their anguish over the incident, placing the blame squarely on the policemen involved.

Yusuf’s injuries were visibly severe, with a deep cut on his right arm. He was swiftly taken to a nearby vehicle for immediate transportation to a hospital for medical treatment.

The situation further escalated as more officers from the Ketu Division arrived at the scene to restore order and bring calm to the agitated crowd.

The injured policeman was also rushed to the hospital for medical attention.
