Hisbah Arrests Teenage Boy For Raping Two Girls, Aged 5, 6 in Kebbi

Operatives of the Kebbi State Hisbah Board has arrested a 16-year-old boy Habibu Umar, for raping two girls, aged 5 and 6 in Badariya area of Birni Kebbi. 

The board, in a statement posted on its official Facebook page, said the suspect was arrested on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, following a complaint by the victims’ families.

The victims were rushed to a hospital for immediate medical attention.

According to the state, medical reports show evidence of penetration on their girl’s private parts. 

During interrogation, Habibu confessed to the crime. 

The suspect has been handed over to the police for further interrogation and investigation.

He will be charged to court after investigation
