Abia State Governor, Alex Otti has nominated 34 persons as Chairmen and Deputy Chairmen for the 17 local governments in the state.
The State Commissioner for local government and chieftaincy affairs, Uzo Nwachukwu, in a statement said the Governor had transmitted the names of the nominees to the State House of Assembly for screening and confirmation.
The nominees are as follows:
