Bauchi State governor, Bala Mohammed, has submitted a list of commissioner nominees to the Bauchi State House of Assembly for screening and confirmation.

The Speaker, Abubakar Suleiman, conveyed the governor’s message to the Assembly at the plenary on Monday.

He said the governor requested that the House screen and confirm the nominees for appointments as members of the State Executive Council in line with the provisions of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (as amended)

The Majority Leader of the House, Saleh Hodi Jibir, reeled out the names of the nominees, after which the House resolved to screen them on August 2, 3, and 4.
