Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels, has opened up about months of health challenges and her prolonged absence from social media as she celebrated her 25th birthday on Saturday, October 10.
Actress appeared in wheelchair in birthday video shared on her Instagram page.
Daniels said she had lost freedom to move around as she pleased for several months. According to her, what began as minor health issue gradually worsened, affecting her mobility and daily life.
Actress revealed that her condition took turn for worse after last public event she hosted, a Children’s Day carnival. She said she had undergone repeated medical tests and experienced excruciating pain, with some days leaving her unable to walk.

I know many of you may be surprised as seeing me in a wheelchair. Well, welcome to another chapter of my life.
Let me walk you through what my life has been. Since many of you have asked questions of my absence, so perfect day to give a response to those who actually genuinely care.
For several months now, I lost my freedom to move around as I please. It started as something minor, very minor, but eventually led to this.
But things took a major turn after the last public gathering I hosted, my children’s day carnival.
It’s been one test after another, that I jokingly started calling myself a lab rat.
The p@in became… how can I explain this? The p@in became excruciating. Sometimes I find myself walking well, and sometimes I just can’t move. I cried.
I looked unto God for His divine healing, as He alone has the final say on my life.
Tell me, how else to completely break a girl that’s so full of life, other than being completely dependent on something or someone to make the tiniest step.
Well, me sitting here today, in front of this camera, sharing this with you all is because there’s been a really significant development in my recovery and I say thank you Lord.
I made a decision to live somewhere closer to my LAPS, and most importantly to my heart – my babies.
At first, I rented the space. But from the moment I stepped my feet here, I just had this need to own the land.
Now here is the most juiciest part. From the exact day I made a down payment of this house, everything, everything I have in here came as a gift.
Look at my furniture, I mean the beautiful timeless piece was gifted to me by an adorable woman who was introduced to me by a very special somebody, my hairstylist….”
