Presidential candidate of Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, Peter Obi, has urged Nigerians to actively protect their votes and remain at polling units until ballots are counted during 2027 presidential election.
Obi made call during NDC Global Digital Townhall on Sunday, where he discussed voter mobilisation, election security and strategies for protecting electoral process. He also urged supporters to ensure polling agents are present across country.
Former Anambra State Governor cautioned Nigerians against accepting money or allowing intimidation to influence their choices, saying such practices could undermine future of country.
He stressed need for citizens to remain engaged throughout voting and counting process.
Obi also said his campaign was working to strengthen its network of polling agents and collaborate with other political parties to promote what he described as free, fair and credible elections.
