Power supply has been restored after the national electricity grid collapsed on Thursday.
The grid collapse resulted in a massive loss of supply to power distributors nationwide.
But hours after this, the Eko Electricity Distribution Company (Eko Electric), said power supply has been restored from the grid.
This announcement was made in a tweet by Eko Electricity Distribution Company on X at at about 12:50 pm today, 14 September 2023, noting that the grid’s power supply has been restored.
The tweet reads: “Kindly be informed that the power supply has been restored from the grid. Thank you for your patience.”
Barely 15 days after the Transmission Company of Nigeria ( TCN) celebrated 400 days of grid stability, the country was again thrown into darkness following a total system collapse on Thursday.
