Zamfara State Governor, Dauda Lawal, has declared that his administration will neither negotiate with nor surrender to criminal groups operating in the state.
Lawal made the declaration during a condolence visit to Bungudu community following last week’s deadly attack that claimed lives and led to the abduction of several residents.
The governor vowed to intensify efforts against banditry and strengthen security measures aimed at protecting residents across the state.
He said the attack has added pressure on authorities to step up operations against criminal elements, adding that his government remains committed to restoring peace and stability in Zamfara.
Lawal urged residents to support security agencies with credible information to aid the fight against banditry.
