The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, on Friday commissioned the party’s new state secretariat in Jalingo, Taraba State.

Describing the development as a major step toward strengthening the APC’s presence, Yilwatda said the facility would serve as a strategic hub for party administration, coordination, and grassroots mobilization.

In a post on his official social media pages, Yilwatda said the commissioning was part of engagements in Jalingo aimed at deepening the party’s structure and expanding its support base in Taraba.

“This beautiful Secretariat must be more than an office; it must be a temple of reconciliation. I want to see aggrieved members sitting around the table, resolving differences, rebuilding trust and bringing more people into our great party. Our strength is our unity, and Taraba has the capacity to deliver the numbers.

“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has brought renewed federal attention to Taraba, with critical infrastructure and development projects changing the story of communities that once felt forgotten.

“We must translate this development into greater hope for our people and a stronger mandate for Mr. President. This is the APC we are building, a party of humanity, reconciliation, development and hope.”

He appreciated party members for their loyalty and urged them to remain focused on unity, service, and the Renewed Hope agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The event attracted APC governors, members of the National Working Committee, party leaders, stakeholders, and supporters from across the state.
