Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, on Friday commissioned the Adesan-Abere Road in Obafemi Owode Local Government, saying his administration has delivered 1,600 kilometres of roads across the state.

The governor said the project is part of efforts to improve connectivity, ease movement of goods and people, and boost economic activities in the area.

According to the Governor, Ogun Central Senatorial District alone has benefited from the construction and reconstruction of 42 roads in the last seven years, covering strategic locations across Abeokuta, Panseke, Adigbe, Arepo, Siun-Owode, Mowe-Ofada, Magboro and several other communities.

He stressed that the spread of infrastructure projects across the three senatorial districts was in fulfilment of the pledge he made before God and the people of Ogun State to remain fair, just and equitable in the distribution of development.

Governor Abiodun dedicated the Adesan-Abere Road to the glory of Almighty God and the benefit of residents, businesses and commuters, noting that the project would improve connectivity, ease movement and further stimulate economic activities within the area.

The Governor assured residents that his administration would remain focused on completing ongoing projects and delivering additional road infrastructure across the state as it progresses towards the conclusion of its tenure.

He also expressed confidence that the developmental trajectory established by his administration would be sustained through continuity in purposeful governance, ensuring that Ogun State continues on the path of growth, prosperity and sustainable development.

“Igbega Ipinle Ogun, ajose gbogbo wa ni!” the Governor declared.
