President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has arrived in Kaduna State for the All Progressives Congress, APC’s 2027 presidential campaign flag-off at the Kaduna Township Stadium, also known as Ranchers Bees Stadium.
The President joined Vice President Kashim Shettima, APC governors, members of the party’s National Working Committee, National Assembly members and other political stakeholders at the rally.
Thousands of supporters of the President filled the stadium on Saturday, October 24, 2026, as the ruling party formally launched its presidential campaign for the 2027 general elections.
Supporters from different parts of the country, wearing outfits bearing Tinubu’s image and displaying campaign messages, participated in activities organised ahead of the arrival of the President and other party leaders. The gathering was aimed at mobilising support for Tinubu’s bid for a second term.
The campaign launch follows a solidarity march through Kaduna on Friday, when thousands of APC supporters moved through major streets before proceeding to the state government house. Governor Uba Sani received the delegation and urged party supporters to sustain their mobilisation efforts ahead of the elections.
Ahead of the rally, security was tightened across Kaduna, with security personnel deployed to strategic locations. Organisers also made preparations at the stadium to accommodate party leaders, elected officials and supporters expected from across the country.
The event marks a major campaign gathering for the ruling party ahead of the 2027 general elections, with party leaders expected to mobilise supporters and outline their priorities for the next phase of the Renewed Hope Agenda.
The rally is also expected to focus on the administration’s economic reforms, infrastructure development, agriculture and security, as the APC begins its campaign activities to secure another term for Tinubu and Shettima.
The campaign is expected to bring together APC governors, National Assembly members, party executives and support groups as the ruling party begins a broader mobilisation drive for the 2027 presidential election.
