The Nigeria Police Academy, NPA, Wudil, Kano State, has announced the commencement of screening for candidates of the 13th Regular Course from Wednesday, September 9 to Friday, September 18, 2026.
The Commandant, AIG Auwal Musa Muhammad, said in a statement on Monday, August 25, 2026, that the exercise will cover Computer Based Test, CBT, physical features check, medical screening and Selection Board Interview.
Printing of examination slips will run from August 25 to September 8, 2026 via the POLAC Admission Portal.
According to the schedule, candidates from Abia, Adamawa, Akwa Ibom, Anambra and Bauchi states will write on September 9, while those from Bayelsa, Benue, Borno, Cross River and Delta will take theirs on September 10. Other batches are spread through September 11 to 16, covering all 36 states and the FCT.
Candidates are required to come with originals and photocopies of Primary School Certificate, SSCE result, JAMB slip, Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age, LGA Indigene Certificate, Letter of Identification, Guarantor’s Form, Medical Certificate of Fitness from a government hospital, NIN slip, 4 passport photographs and application acknowledgement slip.
The dress code for the exercise is white T-shirt, white shorts, white socks and white canvas shoes.
The Academy said candidates are expected to arrive a day before their scheduled date and will be accommodated within the premises for the duration of the screening. Parents will not be allowed into the Academy during the exercise.
The Commandant warned applicants to beware of fake social media accounts impersonating the Nigeria Police Academy and to rely only on information from the official POLAC Admission Portal.
