Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji, will commence a two-week annual leave on Monday, August 24, 2026.
A statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media, Olayinka Oyebode, said the leave is part of the Governor’s statutory annual leave entitlement.
The statement noted that despite being on leave, Governor Oyebanji will continue to attend to critical matters relating to governance and administration of the state.
The Governor is expected to resume office on Monday, September 7, 2026.
This will be the second time Governor Oyebanji will be proceeding on annual leave since he assumed office on October 16, 2022.
