The Osun State APC governorship candidate for the 2026 election, Bola Oyebamiji, has intensified engagements with residents and party supporters, citing growing grassroots support for his ambition.
In a post on his X handle on Friday, Oyebamiji said he addressed hundreds of commercial motorcycle riders and supporters at Osogbo Stadium during a “Victory Ride for AMBO”.
“Their energy, commitment and confidence in our shared vision reaffirm that the momentum for a better Osun continues to grow,” he said.
He also attended the inauguration and empowerment programme of the Tijaniyya Grassroots Mobilisation and Empowerment Initiatives of Nigeria, TIGMEN, Osun chapter, commending the group for supporting vulnerable members and promoting grassroots development.
Oyebamiji later joined the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola, who represented President Bola Tinubu, Kogi Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, Edo Governor Monday Okpebholo and Minister of Works, Dave Umahi, at the flag-off of the Osogbo–Iwo–Ibadan and Osogbo–Akoda–Gbongan road projects.
He described the projects as evidence of the Federal Government’s commitment to improving infrastructure under the Renewed Hope Agenda.
The APC candidate pledged to continue working towards a more prosperous and inclusive Osun.
