Turkish champions Galatasaray have rejected a reported £111 million offer from Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal for striker Victor Osimhen, insisting the Nigerian forward is not for sale.
Club President Dursun Özbek publicly dismissed transfer speculation on Friday, stating the club will not entertain any deal for the 27-year-old regardless of the financial terms.
“Galatasaray will not sanction any transfer that does not serve the club’s best interests. Osimhen is a key part of our future,” Özbek said.
The firm stance comes amid growing interest in the former Napoli forward following his permanent move to Galatasaray after a successful loan spell.
Reports also link Premier League club Arsenal with the striker, with discussions said to have taken place during broader club-to-club talks. Those talks are also reported to have included Arsenal forwards Gabriel Martinelli and Ethan Nwaneri, though no agreement has been reached.
For now, Galatasaray’s position effectively blocks both Al-Hilal’s record bid and Arsenal’s inquiries as the transfer window continues.
