The National Emergency Management Agency, Lagos, on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, received 298 Nigerians voluntarily repatriated from South Africa.
The third batch arrived at Murtala Muhammed International Cargo Airport, Ikeja, at 10:46 a.m. aboard a chartered flight. The returnees comprised 106 adult males, 59 adult females, 113 children and 20 infants.
NEMA coordinated the reception with NIS, NiDCOM, FAAN, NCFRMI and other agencies. The returnees underwent registration, identity verification, health screening and other support services.

NEMA provided transport logistics while security agencies secured movement to their destinations.
