The Ekiti State Government has ordered the immediate dissolution of the executive of the Okada Riders Association at all levels in the state.

The dissolution followed the recommendation of the Board of Trustees of the association, Ekiti State Chapter.

Commissioner for Transportation, Hon. K. K. Ajobiewe, announced this in a statement on Wednesday.

According to the statement, a caretaker committee has been constituted to oversee the affairs of the association.

The committee members are Kunle Asaolu as Chairman, Adelegan Olowuro Sunday as Deputy Chairman, Alade Gbenga as Secretary, Saka Salami, Ajibade Ojo Ademola Omotuyi, Ayodeji Jegede, Lukman Saka, Joseph Emmanuel, Oloruntola Idowu and Agboola Emmanuel as members.

The newly constituted caretaker committee will be inaugurated on Friday, September 25, 2026 at the Ministry of Transportation, Old Governor’s Office, Ado-Ekiti, by 10:00 a.m.
