The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has dismissed claims circulating on social media that Hamza Musa Mai Bulawus has been declared wanted by the anti-graft agency.

In a statement issued on Wednesday and signed by it’s head of media and publicity, Dele Oyewale, the Commission described the publication by Abdullahi Saidu Shugaba on his Facebook account, Zamfara State Media Forum, as false.

“The Commission has no case with Bulawus and he is not on its WANTED List. Any publication to the contrary is fictitious and contrived,” the EFCC said.

The anti-graft agency urged members of the public to disregard the claim, insisting that Bulawus is not wanted by the Commission.
