The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control on Wednesday confirmed additional 176 fresh cases of coronavirus across the country bringing the total infection to 55,632.
The centre in a late night tweet said the new Infections were recorded in 16 state’s including the federal capital territory.
Unlike the previous ones,the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) topped the list 40 new infections recorded followed by Lagos with 34 new cases.

Other states include Plateau-26, Enugu – 14, Delta-12, Ogun – 12, Ondo – 9, Oyo – 8, Ekiti – 6, Ebonyi – 4, Adamawa, Nasarawa- 2, Kwara -2, Rivers – 2, Edo-1,Osun-1 and Bauchi – 1.
On a positive note, the country has been able to manage 43,610 people who have recovered from the virus just as 3 more deaths were recorded bringing to 1,070 people who have died from the virus.
