COVID19: Sharp Drop As NCDC Confirms 864 New Cases,3 Deaths

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has confirmed additional 864 new cases of COVID19 across the country and three death in the last 24hours.

According to the health agency,since the Outbreak of the pandemic in February 2020, 127,024 cases have been confirmed in the country out of which 100,853 persons have been discharged.

Thursday’s new cases were confirmed in 24 States, the Federal Capital Territory,FCT takes the lead recording 129 new cases.

Other States with new cases are: Anambra-87, Rivers-82, Benue-80, Oyo-76, Plateau-61,
Kaduna-54, Delta-51, Nasarawa-38, Kwara-36, Edo-32, Katsina-26, Kano-24, Taraba-18
, Ogun-14, Sokoto-11, Gombe-10, Jigawa-7
Akwa Ibom-6, Cross River-6, Zamfara-5, Bauchi-5, Osun-4 and Ekiti-2.

The NCDC noted that Thursday’s however does not include data from Lagos State.

It stated further ” Our discharges today include 164 community recoveries in Kaduna State and 102 community recoveries in Plateau State managed in line with guidelines
