Nigeria has recorded 126 new cases of the Coronavirus bringing be the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 56,604.
The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) disclosed this on Wednesday via its official Twitter handle.
According to the agency,the new cases were recorded in 16 States and the federal capital territory. The FCT recorded the highest with 37 new cases followed by Lagos with 27 new cases.

Other States with new Infections are; Plateau-16, Kaduna-9,Abia-7,Gombe-6,Ondo-6, Imo-5, Delta-2, Ekiti-2, Kwara-2,Oyo-2,
Bauchi-1, Kano-1, Katsina-1, Ogun-1, Yobe-1
Also,3442 patients were discharged from the different isolation centres bringing the total number of discharged cases to 47,872 while additional 3 people have lost their lives taking the death toll to 1,091.
