Nigeria on Sunday reported 100 new cases of the novel coronavirus moving the total toll to 55,005 according to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control,NCDC.
The health agency in it’s late night tweet also confirmed three deaths , moving the tally to 55,005 till date.
The country has so far discharged 43,013 patients from its isolation centres across the country.

NCDC data shows the new cases are from 9 states and the federal capital territory,Lagos reported the highest with 39fresh Infections followed by FCT with 22 new cases.
Other States with new Infections are: Kaduna – 19, Oyo – 7,Ebonyi – 6, Edo -3 Katsina-1, Ekiti-1, Bauchi-1 and Nasarawa-1.
