The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has confirmed additional cases of coronavirus in the country.
In a late-night tweet, the disease control agency put the total number of new cases recorded nationwide at 1,883 with one additional death.
To date, the country has recorded 130,557 virus cases across its 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
Of those confirmed cases, 103,712 have been discharged and 1,578 have resulted in deaths.

According the health agency, Saturday’s discharges today includes 461 community recoveries in Lagos State managed in line with guidelines.
