COVID19:Drastic Drop As NCDC Confirms 964 New Cases,2 Deaths

The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control, NCDC on Sunday confirmed additional 964 new cases of COVID19 across the country.

The public health agency in is official tweet said the new cases has now moved the total confirmed cases in the country to 121,566.

The new cases were confirmed in 18 States and the federal Capital Territory FCT with Lagos taking the lead reporting 360 cases .

Other States with new cases are : FCT-88,
Ogun-73, Imo-72 , Kaduna-67, Plateau-57, Abia-41, Osun-41, Rivers-32, Kano-26, Niger-24, Benue-23, Edo-20, Cross River-20, Akwa Ibom-8, Nasarawa-6, Zamfara-6 , Ekiti-6 and
Jigawa-4.

1,327 people recovered from the virus in the last 24hours moving the total discharges to 97,228.

According to the health agency, the discharges includes 774 community recoveries in Lagos State managed in line with guidelines.

Unfortunately additional 2 persons lost their lives taking the death toll to 1,504.
