The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, has confirmed 453 new cases of coronavirus disease bringing the total confirmed cases in the country to 46,140.
NCDC made this known in a tweet via its official Twitter account on Saturday night.
According to the NCDC,12 people also lost their lives to the virus bringing the death toll to 942.

The new cases were reported in 19 states and including the Federal Capital Territory which topped the list with 75 new cases.
Other states with new Infections are; Lagos-71, Benue-53, Delta-39, Borno-30, Enugu-25, Plateau-24, Osun-20, Abia-19, Oyo-17, Kaduna-16, Kano-13, Ebonyi-13, Ogun-9, Kwara-7, Ondo-6, Gombe-3, Ekiti-2, Akwa Ibom-1, Rivers-1.
The Agency said 33,044 have been successfully and treated and discharged.
