The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed 135 fresh cases of COVID-19 in the country.
NCDC announced this on Monday night via its verified Twitter account.
According to the health agency, the 135 new cases are confirmed in 12 States and the Federal capital Territory with Kwara state leading with 37 new infections.
Other Statea with new cases are; Lagos-32, Ondo-23, Nasarawa-13, FCT-9, Kaduna-7, Rivers-6, Osun-3, Delta-2, Edo-2 and
Borno-1.
Meanwhile, a total of 47 patients have been discharged after testing negative twice for the virus as the total number of discharged cases hit 152,045.
Till date 163,330 cases have been confirmed in Nigeria out of which 152,045 have been treated and discharged leaving a total of 11,285 active cases in the country wgile 2,058 have lost tbeir lives.
