The Zamfara State Independent Electoral Commission, ZASIEC, has slated 16th November 2024 for the election of local government Chairmen and Councillors in the state.
Addressing newsmen at the Commission’s Secretariat in Gusau, the State capital, the Executive Chairman of the Commission, Bala Aliyu Gusau said the sale of nomination forms will commence from 25th October to 1st of November, 2024.
He said the forms would be sold to aspirants from all interested political parties in the State.
Gusau stated that the press briefing was to announce the date of the election and the sales of Nomi forms to aspirants.
According to him, more activities have been arranged before the local government election across the state.
