Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Bunu have distributed foodstuffs worth millions of naira to 633 vulnerable Christian households in Yobe State, to mark this year’s Christmas celebration.
The state government with the support of the North East Development Commission (NEDC) distributed the items in Damaturu, the state capital on Tuesday.ff
Focal person of the commission, Dr. Ali Ibrahim Abbas, who presented the items said the gesture tagged ‘Governor Buni’s Christmas Package’ will continue in Gashua and Potiskum respectively.
He said the items distributed include rice, spaghetti and vegetable oil to the vulnerable indigent Christians of the state to celebrate the festival with ease.
