The management of the United Nigeria Airlines has explained that poor weather informed the diversion of its Abuja-Bound flight to Asaba, Delta State.
There was drama on Flight NUA 0504 from the Lagos airport on Sunday when the Abuja-bound passengers were flown to Asaba airport.
The cabin crew, upon landing in Asaba, told the passengers that they had arrived at Abuja airport, creating confusion among the passengers.

The spokesperson of the airline, Achilleus-Chud Uchegbu, said the pilot was properly briefed about the diversion, noting that the cabin crew made “wrong announcement upon landing safely in Asaba [and] created confusion among the passengers.”
