Veteran actor, Pa Charles Olumo Sanyaolu, popularly known as Agbako has died,
The actor it was gathered died early Thursday morning, October 31, after taking a nap due to slight tiredness at age 101.
President of Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN), Bolaji Amusan, also known as Mr Latin announced his passing, saying burial details will be announced soon by his family and association.
“#tampanglobal announces the passing of Pa Charles Olumo Sanyaolu, fondly known as AGBAKO,” he wrote.
“Details of the burial arrangements will be shared at a later time. Good night father, 25/02/1923 to 31/10/2024.”
Charles Olumo, was born in the early 1920s and appeared in Yoruba-language films in Nollywood.
His career spanned decades, making him a beloved and iconic figure in the Nigerian film industry.
