Governor Uzodimma called on all Imo Sons and daughters both home and abroad to emulate Prince Mbata’s to contribute their quota towards the development of the State.

Governor Uzodimma added “Government can not provide the needed infrastructure and all it will take to develop our state, therefore I call on you to partner with the government for the betterment of our people”.

The Prince Alex Mbata Road is a 3 kilometer double drainage road. The road is indeed the first of its kind road in the history of Imo State as it was fully funded by an Owerri Born Imo Son, Prince Alex Mbata.

Speaking earlier, Prince Alex Mbata commended the Governor for his efforts to bringing the dividends of Democracy to Imo people as “it is no news that you have come to work for Imo people” and prayed for the Grace and mercy of God to continue to be upon Governor Hope Uzodimma.

Present at the event were the Deputy Governor, Professor Placid Njoku; the Deputy Speaker, Hon. Amara Chyna Iwuanyanwu; The Chief of Staff, Barr. Nnamdi Anyaehi; Chief Harritex, Dr. Uzoma Obiyo and Imo State Government appointees.
