The US Congress has impeached outgoing president, Donald Trump.
The Congress voted 232-197 in favour of the impeachment. The American House of Representatives charges Trump with inciting the January 6 mob invasion of the Capitol Hill during the certification of the electoral votes.
Trump makes history as the first American president to be impeached twice.
Last year, the House had impeached Trump for allegedly pressuring Ukrainian officials to open an investigation into Joe Biden. He was however acquitted at the Senate trial.
