Justice Abdul Dogo of the Federal High Court, Akure, Ondo State has been kidnapped by unknown gunmen on Tuesday while returning to Akure from Abuja.
The Judge was kidnapped alongside his driver on Tuesday at Ibilo/Isua Akoko axis, a border area between Ondo and Edo states.
According to sources closed to the abducted judge, his abductors have contacted his family members to demand a sum of N50 million as ransom.
A police source however confirmed that the Inspector General of Police has deployed an Intelligence Response Team to rescue the victims.
