Ebonyi State Governor,David Umahi has ordered the immediate relocation of all poultry markets within the State Capital to the permanent site at Umahi International Market.
The Governor gave the directive in a statement through his Special Assistant on Media and Publiclity, Francis Nwaze on Saturday.
Nwaze said the Governor has directed the Commissioner for Capital City to impound and prosecute any of such illegal markets from Monday, July 5, 2021.
Recall that the Governor had issued the same directive one year ago, but it was discovered that many of the poultry traders resulted in illegalities to avert this directive.
