The All Progressives Congress (APC) has constituted a National Campaign Council ahead of the June 20 governorship election in Ekiti State.

According to details released by the party on Friday, Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani will chair the council, while President of the Senate, Godswill Obot Akpabio, will serve as Vice Chairman.

The campaign structure is made up of serving governors, former governors, principal officers of the National Assembly, and other influential party leaders drawn from across the country.

In addition to the main council, the APC also announced the establishment of several specialised sub-committees to drive various aspects of the campaign.

The committees include Election Planning and Management, Finance and Resource Mobilisation, Grassroots Engagement and Mobilisation, Logistics and Campaign Management, Protocol, Media and Publicity, Security, Women’s Mobilisation, Youth Mobilisation, and Secretariat Functions.
