The Bauchi Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), has held a ceremony of parade in honour of two gallant officers killed by gunmen at Sinoma BUA Cement Company, Okpella, Edo State.
The two personnel, ASCII Abdullahi Adamu and ASCII Abdulkadir M. Gololo, were on national assignment when they lost their lives in the ambush on September 5, 2025.
The parade was held on September 8 at the command headquarters. 2025. The remains of the officers were laid to rest afterwards.
The state commandant CC. Oloyede Nelson Oyerinde held a prayer session to the deceased in his office, where head of units, departments, management staff and the entire officers and men of the command offered a special prayer for the deceased to Almighty God to grant them eternal rest and their immediate family a special comfort to bear the lost
Praying for the souls of the deceased and seeking God’s mercy and forgiveness.
Also, 21 gun salute procession was carried out at the command premises before the final interment according to Islamic rites.
The state commandant in his address described the situation as unfortunate.
He prayed for the deceased that may the Almighty God grant them Jannatul Firdausi as their final abode and bring comfort to the entire corps, NSCDC Bauchi State command, their families and friends.
