Two persons have been reported dead and two others rescued alive after a two-storey building collapsed at Nomansland in Fagge Local Government Area of Kano State.
It was gathered that the building collapsed around 2am on Thursday, September 5, 2024, amidst a heavy downpour.
It was further learnt that the overflow of the waterway affected the building located close to it.
The Public Relations Officer, Kano State Fire Service, Saminu Yusif Abdullahi, who confirmed the incident said two persons had been rescued alive so far and taken to the hospital, while two were dead as the rescue operation continued.
