Troops of the Nigerian Army, Operation FANSAN YANMA under the TSAFTADAJI III – Phase 2, have neutralized another four notorious bandits in Ruwan Kunku, a village along the Gusau-Magami highway in Zamfara State.
Intelligence sources revealed that the offensive carried out during the weeklong, targeted bandits responsible for multiple kidnappings and attacks on travelers along the highway.
The identified bandits include: Nazifi, Sakkarawa, Sule and Dan Kwaiba
According to sources, the slain bandits were part of a criminal network operating from Mai Rai Rai village in Bini district, under the Maru Local Government Area.
They were also known to be associates of the late notorious bandit leader, Kachalla Zakiru.
