Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been sworn in as the 16th President of Nigeria. He took his oath of office presided over by the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Kayode Ariowola.
This is coming a few minutes after the Vice President-elect, Kashim Shettima, was also administered the oath of office.
Tinubu had earlier arrived at the Eagles Square with his wife, Remi; and the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, Boss Mustapha.
Tinubu won the 2023 presidential election after defeating the likes of Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Peter Obi of the Labour Party, LP, and Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP.
