The meeting held at the PBAT CONTINUITY PROJECT office along Oyemekun Road in Akure was attended by many prominent leaders and elders of the APC across the 18 local government areas of the state.

The Minister who said that Ondo state contributed hugely to the emergence of President Tinubu in the southwest in 2023 boasted that the state was ready to do it again in 2027 with the support of all APC members

He urged members of the PBAT CONTINUITY PROJECT, PCP to work in love and unity for the re-election of President Tinubu come 2027, assuring them of his full support, considering the positive impacts the President had made on the southwest region.

“This project, Asiwaju for second term is our project, PCP is our project, in the last election we had 67% but our target this time is to do far far better than that. With the calibre of people in PBAT CONTINUITY PROJECT, we will deliver more than expected once we agree to work together” Tunji-Ojo said.

The Chairman of NIPOST and APC National Vice chairman, Southwest, Hon Isaacs Kekemeke who said President Tinubu deserved a second term going by his leadership style and commitment to national development commended the founders of PBAT CONTINUITY PROJECT for the initiative which he noted would no doubt ensures that President Tinubu remains in office beyond 2027.

“This is a President from the southwest and we cannot but support him, more so this President is doing extremely well. For the good of our country, for the good of our region and for the good of ourselves, it is good that President Bola Tinubu continues to be president, he means well for the southwest and I’m happy that some leaders of APC have decided to start ” Kekemeke said.

On his part, a former commissioner for Finance in Ondo state, Mr Wale Akinterinwa hailed the idea of PBAT CONTINUITY PROJECT at this time when the President needed the support of all Nigerians to consolidate on his various policies and continue his good works beyond 2027.

“I want to say that I’m happy to be part of this group and I can assure you that we will play our part and deliver on the mandate of the group, this is a group of very committed and respectable leaders who have come together for the purpose of ensuring that our President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu did not only return in 2027 but we give him the maximum vote in 2027.” Akinterinwa Submitted

Earlier in a welcome address, the Director-General of PBAT CONTINUITY PROJECT, Pastor Femi Agagu had said the group would work up to community levels to ignite support of all Ondo state indigenes for the reelection of
President Bola Tinubu, calling on all and sundry to be part of the movement.

While reiterating that President Tinubu deserves a second term to consolidate on his giant strides, Agagu said the membership of PCP would be expanded for effective results.

In separate goodwill messages, the first female SSG in Ondo state, Mrs Oladunni Odu and a former information commissioner, Mrs Tola Awoh promised to mobilse more women into the group and also canvass support for President Tinubu in 2027.

Other speakers at the event including Hon Mayowa Akinfolarin, Hon Taye Akinyele, Mrs Olukemi Iyantan, Dr Olubunmi Osadahun, Barr Sola Ajisafe, High Chief Ojo Alalabiaye and Barr Tobi Ogunleye made suggestions that would assist the group in achieving its goals.
