Former Senator representing Kaduna Central, Shehu Sani has mocked the President Buhari’s Administration following the recent NBC report on poverty.

According to NBC 133million Nigerians are living in multidimensional poverty especially in rural areas where 72 per cent of people are poor compared to urban areas where we have 42 percent.

Reacting to the report in a tweet he shared, Sani noted that they ‘promised to lift 100m people out of poverty, but threw 133m into deeper poverty.’

He tweeted; 

“They promised to lift One hundred million people out of poverty;now they have officially thrown One hundred and thirty three million people into deeper poverty.”
