Islamic States of West African Province (ISWAP) terrorists, on Wednesday, raided a community hospital and razed telecomm mast in Mugumeri Local Government Area of Borno State.
Magumeri is some 40 kilometers away from Maiduguri, the state capital.
This is coming hours after Governor Babagana Zulum reopened the Bama – Banki -Cameroon raod which was closed for nine years.
Sources said after storming the headquarters of the local government, they fired at all directions sending the community in panic mode.
The terrorits stole some drugs and other medical consumables.
Some of the attackers engaged the military in a gun duel, while another group sneaked into the hospital to steal drugs, refrigerators and some bedsheets.
The telecom mast burned down by the terrorists beonged to Airtel.
