Taraba State Governor, Agbu Kefas has approved the immediate dissolution of the Caretaker Committee of the sixteen Local Government Councils in the state.
The dissolution is contained in a press statement issued to journalists on Tuesday, in Jalingo.
The former CTC Chairmen were directed to as a matter of urgency hand over all government property in their possession to the Head of Local Government Administration of their respective Councils.
The decision took the caretaker committee chairman unaware, as most of them, who spoke with our correspondent, expressed sadness.
They were appointed by the immediate past governor, Arc. Darius Dickson Ishaku
