The Vice-President elect, Kashim Shettima has paid a familiarization visit to the former Military president, General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida and former Head of State, General Abdulsalam Abubakar.
Shettima who was in Minna Niger State Capital on Thursday to pay homage and to check on the two former Nigerian leaders to mark Ramadan fasting period according to some sources.
Sources closed to the duo at their Uphill residences in Minna hinted that the visit may have been unconnected with the incoming All Progressives Congress (APC) Government to be led by the President-elect, Bola Tinubu seeking the supports of the two Elder Statesmen.
The visit may also be to Consult and find a way out, over the recent Department of State Services (DSS) alleged plans by some perceived disgruntled Political actors in the country ‘s decisions to moot the idea of the formation of interim National Government in the country.
