Former National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, said he is working and looking towards consensus arrangement that would produce the next Senate President.

Oshiomhole who is a Senator-elect representing Etsako Central Senatorial District, in an interview with journalists after a meeting with some Senators-elect in Abuja, added his voice to the party’s choice of Godswill Akpabio.

He insisted on allowing the next administration to start on a good note, stressing that he “is fully on board the Godswill Akpabio’s project for the Senate President of the 10th National Assembly.”

The former Governor of Edo State admonished the incoming Senators to avoid a tussle between the executive and the legislature, which he maintained wouldn’t be in the interest of the nation.

To create a conducive environment for the smooth takeoff of the incoming administration, Oshiomhole assured that efforts would be made to bring all the interests for the 10th Senate President together to be in line with what the President-elect desired.
