Former Senate President, Bukola Saraki has condemned vicious attacks on Plateau Communities by unknown gunmen.

While symphatizing with families of victims of the attack, Saraki stressed the need for government to work to end the constant loss of lives and destruction of properties across the country.

He wrote “My deepest sympathies go out to the families and communities whose lives have been disrupted by the vicious and senseless attacks in Plateau State.

“Once again, government must rally to confront these problems — and work to end the constant loss of irreplaceable lives, and the harrowing destruction of property and sources of livelihood.

“We must conscientiously work towards finding real solutions to ensure our communities have adequate security, our intelligence networks can be proactive to quell such attacks, and we have the necessary tools and technology to protect families across Nigeria.

“It is my prayer that the perpetrators of this heinous act are apprehended, tried, and made to face the full weight and consequences of their actions.

“ I also pray that the families that have been affected through loss or injury, find peace and recovery from this heart-rending occurrence.”
