The Lagos State Government on Thursday, July 30, 2026, presented official vehicles to chairmen and members of the Civil Service and Health Service Commissions, as well as seven Permanent Secretaries.
The Head of Service, Mr. Bode Agoro, made the presentation on behalf of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu at the Office of the Head of Service in Alausa, Ikeja.
According to the government, the gesture is part of efforts to equip senior public officials with the tools needed to deliver efficient and people-focused services.
Mr. Agoro congratulated the beneficiaries and urged them to reciprocate the confidence reposed in them through professionalism, integrity, accountability and diligence.
He said the provision of the vehicles demonstrates the Sanwo-Olu administration’s commitment to the welfare of public servants and to improving productivity across Ministries, Departments and Agencies.
The Head of Service further directed the beneficiaries to use the vehicles strictly for official duties that will enhance service delivery and support the development of Lagos State.
He reaffirmed the government’s resolve to continue motivating and equipping the public service in line with the THEMES+ Agenda, aimed at driving sustainable socio-economic growth and improving the quality of life for all Lagosians.
