Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has released the names of two youths to join the Judicial Panel of Inquiry and Restitution for Victims of SARS Related & Lekki Toll Gate Incident.

The youths are: Rinu Oduala and Majekodunmi Temitope. They were selected by the youths.

Governor Sanwo-Olu made the announcement on his social media handle,he wrote;

” Well done to the youths in Lagos for coming together to select Rinu Oduala & Majekodunmi Temitope to join the Lagos Judicial Panel On SARS as part of our commitment to justice and compensation for victims of Police brutality. Proceedings are public, follow @LagosSarsPanel”

Temitope Majekodunmi is an administrator, transformational leader and an activist who has been among the advocates for ending police brutality.

Rinu Oduala is the convener of Operation Sanitise and a leading advocate for #ENDSARS. She is also a brand strategist and a passionate advocate for social justice.

Governor Sanwo-Olu noted that the scope of the panel has been expanded to cover the Lekki toll incident.

He however called for Memoranda to be submitted through the panel’s email: judicialpanelonsars@lagosstate.gov.ng and you can call 0901 051 3203 , 0901 051 3204 , 0901 051 3205 for enquiries.

The Governor also reiterated the need for Lagos based business owners who had their stores looted/vandalized, to fill a form so that government could assist them.
