Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has inspected the Alakija Bridge following reports of a suspected attempt by vandals to damage parts of the structure.
The governor, who visited the site on Sunday, assured residents that the bridge remains safe, structurally sound, and open to traffic.
Security agencies have been directed to step up surveillance around critical infrastructure in the state to prevent further acts of vandalism.
